It was a chilly weekend here in Niagara’s Twenty Valley during the Winter WineFest weekend on January 11-13, 2019, but it didn’t stop the crowds from coming out in droves to taste some of the areas best food and wine.
In addition to excellent food and wine, the festival also featured a fashion show, demonstrations, seminars and musical performances from local talents and Canadian headliners Ashley MacIssac, Coleman Hell, and Whitehorse.
Other features of the event included the Sparkling Dinner and Icewine Brunch prepared by celebrity chefs, Connie DeSousa and John Jackson of CHARcut Restaurant in Calgary. The Dillon’s and Bench Brewing After Parties were can’t miss shindigs. The annual Barrel Rolling competition and Icepuck Shoot Out were hits. And the fan favourite booth was awarded to Creekside.
There’s nothing more Canadian than a wine festival in the winter! Cheers!
