Spending the remainder of summer in Niagara

Summer is coming to an end, but it’s not over yet! This season is the perfect time to be in Niagara. Crops are aplenty, events are in full-swing, and the sun is shining.

Here are some great ways to spend the rest of summer in Niagara:

Enjoying Niagara’s Bounty

We’re in the heart of peach season, and you’ll be able to find an endless supply of these beauties at the many Farmers Markets and roadside stands throughout the region. Corn and plums are also in season too!

Catching Rays at the Beach

Niagara has a number of gorgeous, white sand beaches on the shores of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. Visiting one of these beaches will feel like you’re on a tropical vacation, right here in your own backyard!

Enjoy a Day in the Vines

Stop by one of Niagara’s many wineries and breweries to cool off with a drink on the patio. See the grapes growing just before harvest season.

Play Tourist

Niagara is busy this time of year, with tourists from all over the world come to visit. With good reason - it’s one of the most beautiful places in the world! There’s no shame in visiting some of the popular tourist spots in the region - they’re famous for a reason!

Rosé Fest at Westcott

Rosé lovers from near and far joined us at Westcott Vineyards on June 8, National Rosé Day!

Visitors sipped on Westcott’s Delphine Rosé, Pinot Noir Rosé and hand-crafted mocktails while snacking on tacos, nachos, popcorn and roasted meat sandwiches from Ricky + Olivia.

And everyone stopped for a few photos on our swing on the way in!

Everyone stuck to the pink dress code, in true Rosé style!

Even the sunset was celebrating Rosé Day.

It was the perfect evening to celebrate all that is pink!

Graze the Bench 2019

During the weekend of June 1st and 2nd, 4000 wine and food lovers descended upon the Beamsville Bench for a weekend of Grazing.

7 of the Beamsville Bench wineries hosted Grazers as they came to try favourite wines, alongside food from some of Niagara’s favourite chefs, and great music.

It was a beautiful weekend in the vines, and we couldn’t have asked for better weather. We couldn’t have done it without our awesome volunteers, the amazing wineries, and our excellent sponsors.

Cheers to Graze the Bench, we’ll see you next year!
